Tynes Deadwood Beach Basic Camp, some call it Dead Mosquito Beach and yes; there are some biting devils here, especially in july. But it might be worth a few drops of blood to experience this Alaskan style beach. The shallow sandy plateau of half a square kilometer are mostly covered by water, but usually goes dry in end of july. Compost toilet available. Showers and water at Oldernes Strandcamp (2,5km). No electicity, just silence... interupted by shrieks of joy and laughter.
NOTE; CAMP IS STILL UNDER SOME CONSTRUCTION AND ACCESS IS LIMITED TO VEHICELS OF MAX 6 METERS, as camp is very narrow and you risk to hit a tree!

Such a beautiful and quiet place. Simple and pristine. Don't go there if you're a glamper, if you have a large campervan or if you forgot your musquito repellant. Definitely go there if you have a small tent, like to bathe in a lake, love to wander through forests and over stones and if you wish to build campfires!
